It is your fault.

I've seen a lot of Dommes recently complaining about how the scene has become saturated with too many new Dommes or how "quiet" it has become.
If anything your income should be going UP because you are unique and your experience, content and web presence is what attracts subs to you.

When I see those Dommes complaining I also see they attract an increase of time wasters and those wanting to negotiate prices. BECAUSE THEY KNOW YOU ARE DESPERATE. If you come across as needing the money then men will take advantage. If you can't figure out how to cast a wider net (those complaining about not earning) then you will never succeed. Put yourself out there.

Don't complain you aren't well known enough or underrated
MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN
MAKE YOURSELF RATED
It's only YOU that can do it
The internet has a huge knowledge base USE IT
Everything you would need to know to do well is at your fingertips the only thing stopping you is yourself.
If you complain for weeks/months/years that you aren't well known then why didn't you spend those weeks/months/years making yourself known? Energy wasted and spent in the wrong place.

What you need to do is THINK
What would a sub need to know about me to want to session with me?
My style.. am I a bratty Domme, strict, smiley, laughing?
How can they find this out about me? Videos, audio, photos? WHERE?
My rates? My limits? WHERE?
If you have to tell every single sub who approaches you the same answers then MAKE A WEBSITE and have it all laid out there.
Stop wasting time repeating yourself over and over again.
For every relevant question a sub asks you add it to the site the more information you have the better it is for you.

I know of many successful ladies who don't show their faces using just phone sessions or audio.
I know many successful ladies who don't do webcam sessions
I know many successful ladies who don't do phone or webcam sessions.
Whatever you decide to do MAKE SURE IT IS AVAILABLE TO FIND ONLINE.
Google is your friend if you search on google and find a site THEN SUBS WILL FIND THAT SITE.

Amberly Rothfield has a VAULT of knowledge about pretty much anything you would want to ask on her site so give that a look. https://amberlyrothfield.com good for new Dommes and those who have been online a while who are thinking "Where do I go next?"

Advertise as many places as possible.

If you are consistent then the money will be consistent. If you float in and out expecting to make big bucks that won't happen. I said before if you were a shop that only opened random times and days on a schedule that only you knew then customers would go elsewhere. As with subs if you are around and they notice you once you vanish for a few months they will find someone else. If you don't own them they will find someone else to fill that hole.

Personally 2019 is going to be my "fuck it" year I'm going all out. I've increased my video output and started to branch out more for advertising and promotion. I finished my degree with a 1st (highest grade possible) and now I have time to commit to this 100%.
I've already noticed an increase in income by just releasing 2 videos a week. I've noticed more bulk purchases and repeat customers (in just 18 days!)
You can do it no matter how dejected you might feel.

If it is slow for calls/cam log off and record some videos don't waste a day complaining how you made no money or how slow it is!
WORK SMARTER not harder.

The successful women online didn't just join twitter one day write FUCK YOU PAY ME and earn thousands. THEY WORKED FOR IT.
They built a brand, they created content, they did interviews, they travelled and got seen at the right places. I only compare myself to MYSELF on my previous years earnings.
If (as a new domme) you compare yourself to someone on the scene who has been around years and worked their way up then you will only ever feel disappointment because you aren't at that level and IT WILL TAKE YEARS BEFORE YOU GET THERE.
This isn't something that can be done overnight WORK WORK WORK.
